About BigIron Auctions
BigIron is a Nebraska-based online auction company that grew out of the farm equipment trade. It sells for farmers, dealers, contractors and public bodies across the U.S. and Canada. It also runs a fixed-price exchange and real estate and livestock sales.
Most sales are weekly online auctions with no reserve and a staggered soft close. A BigIron territory manager lists each item at the seller's site, and the item stays there until pickup. Some sales carry special terms, which can change the deposit, premium or storage rate.
