About UX Auctions

UX Auctions is a publisher and search company focused on government and public auctions, run by UX™ LLC. Its search site, uxsearch.app, checks 33 government and public auction platforms at once, including GovDeals, GSA Auctions, GSA Fleet, Public Surplus and HUD, and lists 390 auction sites in all, so buyers can see what is for sale in one place. Its magazine and workspace live at uxauctions.com, and its publisher is Terry O'Connor.

We give buyers all of the information and let them decide. We never influence a live auction by picking a good deal, using gimmicks like scores or a better pick than another, and our price reports are built from actual closed sales.

Our data

The UX Auctions sold archive holds 59,289 closed government auction sales from the past year, from GSA Fleet and GovDeals, with the winning price, date, place and seller of each one. It adds new closed sales every 15 minutes and keeps them, so it grows every day. The live listings index tracks 73,330 open auctions across 60 states and territories, with each one's current price and closing time.

The Government Auction Price Report publishes what retired government vehicles and equipment sell for, by month, type, make and model, model year and state, and every table can be downloaded as a spreadsheet. Every state, city, platform and category also has its own page with live auctions and closed-sale prices, which you are welcome to link to.

How to cite us

We encourage relationships and request when you use our data to cite "UX Auctions" with a link to the page you used, for example "UX Auctions Price Report, uxsearch.app/research/prices". Our numbers change as new sales close, so it helps to include the date you read them.

What we can help with

We can pull numbers for a story from the archive and the live index, such as what police cars sold for in one state, how many government pickups sold last month, or which agencies are selling the most right now. Tell us what you need and the date range, and we will send the numbers with a note on how they were counted.

Contact

Email the UX Auctions press team at press@uxmail.app and tell us about the story you are working on, and we will get back to you. For anything else, you can reach us through UX Auctions support.
