About AuctionTime

AuctionTime is run by Sandhills Global, the Lincoln, Nebraska, company behind TractorHouse, Machinery Trader and Truck Paper. Auctioneers and dealers list items on it, and the weekly calendar often runs to thousands of items. Sandhills does not handle payments between buyers and sellers.

Weekly online auctions close on Wednesdays, and individual auctioneers also run their own sales on the site. Bidding uses a hidden maximum bid and a soft close, where a late bid can push the end time out. After the sale, the buyer and seller get each other's contact details and settle payment and pickup directly.
