About EBTH (Everything But The House)
EBTH began in 2008 as an estate sale business in the Cincinnati area and moved estate sales online. It is based in Blue Ash, Ohio, and has run sales in many US markets. It takes in whole estates, business inventory and single consignments.
Staff sort, photograph and describe each item, then list it in a timed online sale that closes with a soft close, so a late bid extends the time. Most items start at $1 with no reserve. The site also has Buy Now items. Buyers ship through EBTH's in-house shipping or pick up eligible items at an EBTH warehouse.

What it costs
EBTH shows the premium and shipping cost on each item page and at checkout, so check them before you bid.
| What | Cost |
|---|---|
| Buyer premium | Shown on each item page and added at checkout; a 2025 third-party guide put it at about 25% |
| Starting bid | $1 on most items, no reserve |
| Bidding fee | None |
| Shipping | Instant quote on the item page; set by size, weight and distance |
| Local pickup | No shipping charge on eligible items picked up at an EBTH warehouse |
| Sales tax | Added at checkout based on delivery or pickup location |
| Card fee | No separate card surcharge is published |
Worked example: if an item page shows a 25% premium, a $200 winning bid becomes $250 before tax and shipping. Picking up an eligible item avoids the shipping charge.

| Delivery timing | Carrier rules ask for local deliveries within 1 week and long-haul within 2 weeks of pickup from EBTH. |
