Yoder & Frey
Yoder & Frey has been holding auctions since 1964 for people who buy and sell heavy construction and agricultural equipment. It sells machinery on behalf of large companies as well as private owners, and it also provides desktop and certified appraisals. One of its auction sites is in North Baltimore, Ohio, where the office is open on weekdays.
How buying works
- Registration: buyers can set up an account and register to bid online, or register in person to bid on site.
- Ways to bid: in person at the sale or online through the company's bidding platform. Pre-bids can be placed before the auction begins.
- Reserves: lots are offered without reserve prices.
- Viewing and removal at North Baltimore: the yard opens to visitors two days before the auction, and purchases must be collected within two weeks of the sale. Buyers of lots stored off site must phone the Ohio office at least 48 hours ahead to book a pickup time.
