How buying works

• Onsite bidders register with a valid ID at the clerking trailer, or at the main office for sales held there.
• Some auctions are live with online bidding, and others are timed or online only, run through the Wieman Bid2Buy site on HiBid.
• Onsite bidders pay no buyer's premium. Online bidders normally pay 2.5%, capped at $750 per item.
• Payment is due on sale day by cash, check, wire or credit card (with a 3% fee). Sales tax applies unless the buyer is exempt.
• Items are sold as is, where is. Purchases at the main location can stay on the lot for 30 days; at farm or home sales, removal is generally the same day.
