How buying works
- Ways to bid: in person, absentee, or live online through cci.auction; digital sales are timed online auctions where buyers create an account and bid.
- Approval: online and absentee bidding at the futurity sales must be approved ahead of time, at least five business days before the session for credit approval.
- On-site registration: bring a valid U.S. driver's license and an accepted form of payment.
- Payment is due the day of purchase by U.S. bank check, cash or pre-approved cashier's check; credit cards and digital payments are not accepted.
Good to know
- Each sale has its own buyer page with its Conditions of Sale and buyer documents.
- Agents and non-U.S. bidders should call the office in advance.
