VanDerBrink Auctions
VanDerBrink Auctions was formed in 2001 by owner and auctioneer Yvette VanDerBrink, who is known for selling "barn find" collections. The company sells collector cars and parts, salvage yard liquidations, antique tractors, memorabilia, estates, private collections and farmland. It holds live on-site auctions with online bidding as well as online-only sales, is licensed in Minnesota, South Dakota and a number of other states, and says it has sold in 23 states.
How buying works
- Online bidding: done through a ProxiBid account or a similar platform, via each sale's catalog link; online bidders may register and leave bids before the live auction.
- On-site bidding: requires a bid card from the auction trailer, issued on showing a driver's license, passport or other government ID. An online number does not cover on-site bidding.
- Fees and payment: a buyer's premium is charged only at some sales, and settlement in full is due the day of the sale.
- As is: no warranties and no returns; once an item is declared sold, the buyer is responsible for it and for removal or trucking within the stated timeline.
