MyComicShop Auctions

MyComicShop is a comic book retailer that also auctions consigned comics. Its auctions include graded comics (CGC, CBCS or PSA), higher-value unslabbed "raw" books, comic book original art, and multi-item lots of lower-value comics such as runs of a single title.

There are two kinds of sale. Weekly auctions start and end on Monday evenings. Prime Auctions, held four times a year in January, April, July and October, focus on higher-value Golden Age, Silver Age and high-grade Bronze Age and Modern books.

How buying works

• Proxy bidding: bidders enter a secret maximum and the system bids only as much as needed to stay ahead; ties go to the earlier bid. Increments run from $1 up to $100 depending on price.
• Buyer's premium: 3% on auction and consignment items paid by credit card or PayPal. It does not apply to payment by check, bank transfer or store account credit.
• Checkout: winners have up to 15 days to submit their order.

• Consignors may not bid on their own items.
