Hertz Farm Management
Hertz Farm Management, with its affiliate Hertz Real Estate Services, is a Midwest farm management and farmland real estate company headquartered in Nevada, Iowa. Its brokerage licenses cover a dozen states, including Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri and the Dakotas.
How buying works
- Bidding takes place in person or online; virtual live auctions run on bid.hertz.ag, with phone bidding also offered.
- Pre-approval: bidders must be pre-approved by Hertz before the auction.
- After the sale: the high bidder signs a sales agreement at the end of the auction and pays a down payment on the auctioneer's timeline, then proceeds to closing.
- No financing contingency: bids are not contingent on financing or inspections, and property sells as is, where is.
Good to know
- The auctioneer's announced terms on sale day take precedence over printed material.
