Federal Equipment Company
Federal Equipment Company has bought and sold used process and packaging equipment since 1957. Alongside its own stock of thousands of machines, it runs weekly equipment auctions, liquidations and private treaty sales. It serves the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, biotechnology, chemical, plastics and rubber, packaging, food and beverage, power generation, utilities and lab equipment industries, and lists auction sites in the U.S., Mexico and Europe.
How buying works
- Online only: all of its auctions are held online and run by professional auctioneers.
- Where bids are placed: depending on the sale, bidding runs on its own auction pages, on BidSpotter or on a partner auctioneer's site.
- Terms first: each sale has its own terms and conditions of sale, which the company tells buyers to review before registering.
- Location: equipment usually stays at the manufacturing facility where it was used, and inspections can be scheduled before bidding begins.
