EstateSales.NET
EstateSales.NET is a listing site for traditional estate sales and auctions; garage sales, flea markets and rummage sales are not allowed. Shoppers find in-person sales by ZIP code or city, and sale addresses are normally released the day before the sale. Its Marketplace adds online sales where shoppers can buy or bid from home.
How buying works
- Card on file: to buy from or bid on any Marketplace sale, buyers save a credit card in their account settings.
- Service fee: Marketplace buyers pay $2.95 per item, itemized at checkout. Several items check out as separate orders, each with the fee.
- Shipping and tax: buyers pay any shipping, and sales tax is based on the delivery address; both are shown before the purchase is confirmed.
- Sellers run the sale: the transaction is between buyer and seller, and sellers set their own return and refund policies.
Good to know
- Disputes over a completed purchase must be raised by email within 15 business days.
