Equipment Facts
Equipment Facts is a live-auction simulcasting and bidding service from Sandhills Global. It opens local auctions of farm equipment, trucks and other equipment to online bidders, who can watch a livestream with video and sound and bid alongside people at the sale. Each auction is run by its own auctioneer, whose terms and conditions are linked from the sale catalog.
How buying works
- Registration: an account with email, name, physical address and phone number, which Equipment Facts must approve before you can bid. Accounts from other Sandhills marketplaces, such as AuctionTime, TractorHouse or TruckPaper, also work.
- Pre-bidding: before the sale you can enter a maximum bid, and the system bids in increments up to that amount.
- Live bidding: during the sale you enter the auction, unlock bidding and confirm each bid.
- Terms: fees, payment and pickup are set by each auctioneer's terms, not by Equipment Facts.
