Clars Auction Gallery is an auction house at 5644 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, California. How buying works

• Ways to bid: in person, absentee, by phone, or online live through Clars Live, LiveAuctioneers or Invaluable. Timed online auctions take online bids only, and each lot closes 15 seconds after the last bid.
• Buyer's premium: 26% of the first $500,000, with lower rates above that. Online bidding adds 2% on Clars Live or 5% on other platforms.
• Payment: invoices must be paid within three days. Cards and PayPal carry a 2.8% fee.
• Pickup: items must be collected within two weeks, after which storage is charged per lot per day. Clars does not pack or ship.
