B-Stock
B-Stock is a business-to-business marketplace where retailers and brands sell returned, excess and trade-in inventory to resellers. Sellers include large retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, The Home Depot and Costco. Lots range from parcels and pallets to full truckloads, in categories such as apparel, furniture, appliances, tools, toys and used phones, and listings come with itemized manifests.
How buying works
- Formats: timed auctions won by the highest bid at close, fixed-price Buy Now listings, and Make an Offer.
- Resale certificate: buyers submit a resale certificate, or their country's equivalent, when registering. Businesses based in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire or Oregon are exempt.
- Payment: ACH, wire and, for qualified buyers, 30-day Net Terms. Credit cards are accepted only on select listings.
- Shipping: B-Stock does not hold the goods; each seller sets its shipping policy. Options include standard and flat-rate shipping, buyer-arranged freight and, at some retailers, self-pickup at a loading dock.
Good to know
- A B-Stock fee applies to orders, including those with free shipping.
