BigIron Auctions
BigIron Auctions runs online auctions of farm and construction equipment, trucks and other machinery, and also lists livestock, real estate and collector cars. Every BigIron auction is unreserved: items sell to the highest bidder, with no reserves or seller buy-backs. A bid within the last five minutes of an item's close extends bidding.
How buying works
- Registration: you must be signed in as a registered bidder and accept the auction terms to bid. Online and on-site bidder numbers are separate.
- Buyer's premium: shown on each lot page; the lots checked listed 10%, capped at $500 per item.
- Payment: due within 48 hours of the auction by wire, ACH, cash, check, or credit card on invoices of $5,000 or less (with a 3% fee). Invoices are viewed in your account, not emailed.
- Pickup: within 14 days with a paid invoice, at the buyer's expense and risk. Later pickup can bring a $25-a-day storage fee.
