How buying works

• Ways to bid: in person at the gallery, by absentee or telephone bid, or online through the company's bidding site and apps or LiveAuctioneers.
• Buyer's premium is added to each winning bid. The rate depends on how the bid was placed, and it is lower when paying by check, money order or cash.
• Payment is due by the end of the sale unless arranged in advance; cards, PayPal and wire transfers are also accepted. New Jersey sales tax applies unless exempt.
• Shipping: Bertoia packs, ships and insures purchases, normally by UPS, once payment is received. Larger items may be referred to a delivery service.

Good to know

• Items are sold as is, descriptions are opinion rather than warranty, and all sales are final.
