How buying works

Registration: online bidders are encouraged to register at least three hours before a sale; Discovery and In-Home bidders must add a credit card.
Buyer's premium: 28%, reduced to 26% for Gallery and Select sales paid by cash, debit, ACH or wire within five business days. Maryland sales tax of 6% applies unless an exemption fits.
Payment and pickup: payment and collection are due within five business days; cards are limited to $10,000 per invoice, and storage fees apply after that window.
As is: sales are final and shipping is up to the buyer, who can ask for recommended shippers.
